Hello, nice to meet you!
​I'm Chelsea, if you hadn't guessed that already! I'm so pleased that you've stumbled upon my little page of captured memories. I'm a Lincolnshire based wedding and lifestyle photographer but am always happy to travel further afield. Whether you're looking for a photographer for a wedding, an engagement, or just a completely random session, I'd love to work with you.
I'm a self-taught, down to earth, Volkswagen obsessed, adventure loving photographer. I have seven younger sibling, (yes... you read that right, SEVEN!) which makes me the bossy big sister. Joking aside, being the eldest sibling has meant that I am great with children of all ages and really know how to make them come out of their shells. A little bit of silliness and they'll soon LOVE the camera.
I love all things photography related, but when it finally stops raining and the sun starts shining I love to take my little Audi TT on a long journey to capture beautiful landscapes. In April 2019 me and my partner headed to Cornwall (which is one of my favourite places in the world and this is actually where my love for photography was born) and it was on this trip that I decided to get the ball rolling and bring Chelsea Bligh Photography to life! We've recently bought a T4 van that we are in the process of converting and cannot wait for more adventures and for the exploration to commence.
Bonus fun fact, we got engaged on our annual trip to Cornwall in April 2022 at the most beautiful waterfall and this is also where we were married in April 2024.
Style
If I had to describe my style without showing you my work I guess I'd say natural and a little moody. I like my photos to be warm in tone but also have a bit of a dark vibe too. I love a classic black and white photo full of detail. They just have an incredibly artistic vibe about them.

​You are guaranteed my undivided attention and a keen eye to detail throughout your session, wedding, whatever it is that you have booked with me. I am all about fun and adventure. I want your experience with me to be relaxed and natural, as we know that having a camera pointed at you is daunting enough. So you bring you, I'll bring the equipment and together we'll create the fun!
Meet Jack!
This is my husband Jack (he begrudgingly stands and poses while I set my shots up, and this photo is just one of many test shots). He's my biggest supporter and quite often accompanies me as a second shooter (his payment is wedding cake!) In all honestly I'd be lost without him. He spots the things that I don't always see, which is great for you, as you get two pairs of eyes for the price of one. Jack also does all of the research into new cameras and equipment to keep everything up to date.
